Sabrina tore up her past

LONDON, Sunday: British Broadcasting Corporation's famous "Dumb Blonde" television discovery Sabrina; who for the past week has been starring in a London suburban music hall, stormed into a Chelsea shop last night and angrily tore up pictures of herself in the nude, the "People" said today.

Sabrina said the pictures were copies of a nude study of her when she was a struggling young model of 16. "The People" said the study, unused for years, was taken out and copied for sale when she became the most famous young woman on TV.

"People" said Sabrina took her mother with her to the shop. The proprietress said the photographs had sold out, but Sabrina thumbed through an album on the counter marked "Art Studies."

Twice she squealed, "That's me, mother."

Her mother, Mrs. Sykes - Sabrina's real name is Norma Sykes - murmured, "Shocking... terrible.... Oh, dear."

And Sabrina tore up the photographs.

"People" published a censored photograph of a nude study of Sabrina and said it had been sold to a firm making packs of playing cards.

Sabrina's picture appears on the back of the ace of spades .
