Mosaic went to a ball the artists and models ball, held in Hollywood, California, at the Palladium, one of Hollywood's popular dance halls. This display of curvacious [sic] femininity, among other things, was photographed by L. Furia, Mosaics' [sic] on-the-spot photographer. The glamorous Sabrina was chosen Queen of the ball and it didn't take an IBM computer to become aware of this revelation. In fact, let the merchandize [sic] speak for itself.
The name Sabrina kind of conjured up a feeling of adventure in us so we decided to embark on a journey of exploration, a word journey. Anyway to make a short story short we discovered that in the fables of old, Sabrina means "river nymph." That's all man. Anyone wanting further information can find it for themselves. Every man for himself. Our fair land is dotted with many libraries and if anyone is curious enough, fling open the doors of these instutitions [sic] of knowledge and begin the search. Perhaps, if you live near a river you might visit it some warm moonlight night and listen to its song. With luck, maybe you will see our river nymph.
Our man Costello seems to have fallen down on the job of protector as the hunchback of Notre Dame (Quasimodo) seems intent on taking a bite of some prime rump from our Queen. Which reminds one staff member, who in his youth played a most fascinating game. This game took place in a park, and the contestants consisted, quite naturally of boys and girls. The object of this quaint little game was to have the girls run merrily thru the park with the boys in hot pursuit after them. When one of the girls was captured she was held gently by the boys, while one of them took a bite of her rump. After each had his turn she was released and the mad chase began after other girls. This staff member stoutly maintains it was all very wholesome fun and really, the girls didn't struggle too hard to escape. Well, take the story for what it's worth, although we believe there is some merit in it. Maybe if a game such as this was indulged in and thought healthy, there just might be less atomic bombs and missiles in the world today.
